Pütter was born in Frankfurt in 1980 and has a younger brother. After graduating from high school in Dietzenbach, he completed a Master's degree program in Performing Arts at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna from 2001 to 2004. While there, he appeared in various productions, including *Liebe mich irgendwie, nein lieber doch nicht!* by René Pollesch.
In 2005, he was engaged by the Theater am Goetheplatz in Bremen. Two years later, he moved to the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin, where he collaborated with directors such as Frank Castorf, Dimiter Gotscheff, and René Pollesch.
Alongside his theater work, Pütter has appeared in numerous feature films and television productions, including *Hilde*, *Passion*, and *Fünf Jahre Leben*.
