Sonia Esgueira is an award winning South African actress, writer, comedienne and voice artist best known for her roles in Jacobs Cross (2006-2013), Spud 3 (2014), Eye In The Sky (2015), Jamillah And Aladdin (2016), and Diamond City (2018).
She is well known in theatre circles for her multi-character one woman shows which she writes and performs, most notably her "Porra" trilogy of comedy plays which are one of the longest running One Woman Shows in South Africa to critical acclaim, as well as "Love And Prozac", all of which played to sold out houses nationwide over multiple repeat runs.
