Biography
Luke Littler (born 21 January 2007) is an English professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He is a PDC World Youth Champion as well as the 2025 and 2026 PDC World Darts Champion and also the youngest player to have won a match in both, the WDF and PDC World Darts Championship. Additionally, he is the youngest player to reach the PDC World Darts Championship final, aged 16 years and at 17 years, 11 months and 13 days the youngest World Champion ever one year later.
Littler holds the distinction of being the youngest player ever to achieve a televised nine-dart finish, as well as the youngest to hit two televised nine-darters. His first came at the 2024 Bahrain Darts Masters when he was just 16 years old, followed by his second at the 2024 Belgian Darts Open at the age of 17. Additionally, Littler made history as the youngest player to hit a broadcast nine-darter, accomplishing this remarkable feat in 2021 at just 14 years old.
He uses the nickname "The Nuke" for his matches. As he had gained a PDC Tour Card, Littler played his debut Players Championships event in 2024 and won the event, hitting a nine-darter on the way to victory. Littler defeated Rob Cross 8–7 in the final of the 2024 Belgian Darts Open, to win his first PDC European Tour event on debut. Thanks to his extraordinary success at such a young age, he is regarded as one of the greatest talents in darts – and in sports overall. His meteoric rise sparked a surge in the sport's popularity, a phenomenon widely referred to as "Littlermania".
