New Jersey-born singer-songwriter, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist known professionally as Mk.gee. Having learned guitar basics from an upright bass player, he's since become acclaimed for playing with a distinctive, experimental guitar tone and fingerpicking style, with which he's credited for creating an original style of instrumentation. He produces his alternative, often lo-fi, music himself at home. He frequently writes and performs with his long-time collaborator, alt-R&B musician Dijon.
