Aung Lay (Burmese: အောင်လေး) is a Burmese actor and model who rose to prominence with critically acclaimed roles in films like Yar Zawin Yine Khae The. Aung Lay was born San Tun Aung on January 26, 1992, in Hlaingthaya Township, Yangon, Myanmar. He is the youngest of three siblings.

He officially began his career in the entertainment industry in 2009 when he joined renowned model trainer John Lwin's model training. Following professional training, he quickly established himself as a runway and commercial model, becoming part of John Lwin's Star and Model Agency. His early career included numerous catwalk shows and appearances in popular music videos, which helped build his public profile.
