Tuan Phoenix

Tuan X was born on November 23rd 1986, in Brooklyn, NY. He has one older brother. He spent most of his childhood & young adult life in the neighborhood of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, NY; lived briefly in Santa Clara, California as a child & in Dumfries, Virginia during his Freshman year of high school & moved to Jersey City, New Jersey in 2014. Tuan attended the Philippa Schuyler Middle School for the Gifted and Talented & his freshman year of high school (2001), he attended Potomac Senior High School. He began his journey as a writer while attending Boys & Girls High School in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating high school (2005), he went on to attend Brooklyn College to study theater. He would drop out of college after only a year & go on to become a performing artist. As a performer, he toured the US, Canada & UK performing in hundreds of venues, including a sold-out concert at the Apollo Theater (2011) & the Canadian Music Week Festival (2014). He's done philanthropic work for organizations such as the ASPCA, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation & released 3 albums "Of Mice And Men" (2010), "The Piano Lesson" (2012) & "A Tale Of Two Cities" (2013); the latter would go on to win a (2014) Independent Music Award for 'Best Urban EP.' Tuan went on to become a content creator covering the gamut of gaming, technology, entertainment & more.
