M. Shahid Vantta

M. Shahid Vantta (born 18 June 2008) is an Indian student, artist, writer, and cineaste. He made his acting debut in the independent short film Ire (2026). he's An avid consumer and enthusiastic reader, viewer, and listener of stories across artistic mediums, he is deeply engaged with cinema, literature, music, visual art, and interactive media.

He hopes to one day translate his lifelong engagement with storytelling into cinema, develop an artistic voice of his own, and create films that reflect his artistic perspective. His interests lie in atmospheric cinema, psychological dramas, coming-of-age stories, romance, speculative fiction, and character-driven narratives.

His influences draw from a wide range of artists across disciplines, particularly creators whose work emphasizes originality, experimentation, and visual storytelling. M. Shahid views every art form as another way of understanding stories, believing that no medium exists in isolation.
