Selena and Susan attempt to take Jay, Sam, and Holly to a club. After being turned away, the gang ends up drunk at a pizza place where Jay tells everyone heโs still hurting from a guy from his past.

Jay, a queer transman, navigates the shark-infested waters of LAโs gay dating scene. Heโs young, heโs single, and heโs really just looking for fun and sex, meeting guys mostly on hookup apps, but when the bedroom door closes, he is subjected to the type of questions cis men only feel safe to ask in private. Jayโs chosen family comes with him on his journey, starting with his primary relationships with cis women: Selena, his gluten-intolerant Angeleno best friend and Darlene, the Bostonian hairdresser/problematic fave who practically raised him and Penis Mascot, the cartoon caped penis who personifies his id. When he meets Joe, a kind genuine guy whoโs really into him, he doesnโt really know how to act and must learn self respect to save any hope for his new relationship.
