Season 1
Episode 1
SHING scores 4 'E' grades in the school examination. However, he is very optimistic and helpful. He even goes to console his schoolmate. He rings home. CHUNG misunderstands that SIDNG has scored very good result. He asks PING to prepare a celebration for SIDNG. Later, SIDNG tells CHUNG the truth. CHUNG wants SIDNG to continue his study. He decides to sell their flat so as to procure enough money for SHING to study aboard. SIDNG is very excited. CHUNG hurts himself by a fall. In order not to make SIDNG worry for him, he pretends to be all right. SHING and CHING are both admitted by the same university. CHUNG meets them. He misunderstands that they are dating. SIDNG goes to see CHUNG at his office to explain. He then knows that CHUNG is on sick leave because he has got hurt. PING tells SHING the details. SIDNG is very touched.
Episode 2
SHING gives up to study aboard so as to lessen CHUNG's burden. When CHUNG has known the case, he pretends that he has already recovered. CHUNG even goes jogging with SIDNG. CHUNG is eventually too exhausted and falls down form a slope. SIDNG tries his best to rescue him. Till then SIDNG decides to stay in Hong Kong. SIDNG's goal is to represent Hong Kong to participate in the badminton competition. However, CHUNG has very high expectation on SIDNG. He even helps SIDNG to find a job. SIDNG works at a magazine publishing house. Later, SIDNG finds that this publishing house is very bad which has no moral. SIDNG is very dissatisfied. LEUNG dates YING. YING's mother worries a lot. Thus, LEUNG and YING go out secretly. They always make use of YUET and YEE to hide the truth.
Episode 3
SIDNG resigns angrily when he found that he publishing house has got no moral. He works at a courier services company. He practices badminton every day after work. His firm requests SIDNG to work overtime on the day of the badminton competition semi-final. SIDNG thus resigns. SIDNG lies that he is working as a script-writer at the TV station. HONG gives CHUNG two tickets on the day of the badminton competition final. CHUNG rings SIDNG at the TV station. CHUNG then knows that SHING is lying. CHUNG watches the badminton competition by himself. He finds that SIDNG is participating at he competition and was the champion. CHUNG is very angry. They eventually compromise that CHUNG will not stop SHING to play badminton if SIDNG could work in a firm steadily for more than six months

SHING works as a warehouse assistant. The manager, Mr. PAO is very mean and cold-blooded. SIDNG speaks for the staff for the sake of righteousness. PAO hates SIDNG deeply. SHAN worries too much for YING. She is dissatisfied with his husband, MAN, who has neglected YING. SHAN invites YING to attend a concert. However, YING pretends to be sick in order to see LEUNG. SHAN goes to see MAN at his clinic. MAN arranged to attend a ball with his nurse, W AH. W AH is very understanding and leaves quietly, SHAN hurries home to take care YING during the party. MAN is very dissatisfied at heart. Fortunately, YING backs home in time. LEUNG goes to study in Japan. He asks SIDNG to take care YING before he leaves Hong Kong. SHING goes to practice badminton secretly. He meets YING who is playing piano. YING is very dissatisfied with SHAN who is too strict to her. SHAN has given her too much pressure.
Episode 5
SHING meets an ex-schoolmate, HO, who is working as a designer. HO could hardly get promoted due to his academic background. HO decides to further study. SHING encourages him. YING attains the piano level 9. SHAN holds a celebration party for YING. She even forces YING to perform in public. YING feels like a puppet. In order not to play piano, YING pretends to be sick. She slips to play badminton instead. YING tells SIDNG her grievance. SHING advises YING to tell SHAN her feeling. However, SHAN is very irritated. W AH and MAN have an affair. W AH is pregnant. MAN proposes to break up with SHAN. SHAN suffers a great blow. YING tries to mediate but MAN is very determined to divorce SHAN. SHAN has no alternative. She got to face reality.
Episode 6
YING suffers a great blow. SIDNG tries to influence YING with his optimistic attitude. However, YING has to choose between her father and mother. MAN makes SHAN misunderstood that YING does not want to under her control. SHAN is very disappointed. She packs YING's stuff. YING then moves to MAN's place unwillingly. She still misses SHAN a lot. Later, she decides to live with SHAN. SHAN sold her flat and moves to a smaller one. YING's schoolmates come to help. SHAN finds YING and SIDNG are very intimate. Later, she knows that they are only common friends. Something has been stolen at SIDNG's firm. Mr. PAO takes the chance to frame SIDNG up and fires him. SIDNG is difficult to get at the truth.
Episode 7
SIDNG fears that her could not play badminton anymore. YING arranges HONG to see SIDNG at he youth club. Meanwhile, CHUNG is also at the club. YING asks CHUNG to tea with her at the restaurant so that he would not discover SIDNG. SIDNG explains the case to HONG. HONG leaves after hearing his explanation. YING visits SIDNG's home. CHUNG and PING like her a lot. The relation between YING and SIDNG improves a lot. YING, SIDNG and other schoolmates go cycling. YING falls carelessly and gets hurt. SIDNG shows his passion and concern unconsciously. They both have blossomed special feeling on each other. HONG gives SIDNG a chance. He just gives him a warning. He even transfers SIDNG to work at the window display department. SIDNG is very glad. PAO is very dissatisfied.

YING and SIDNG dare not to face each other. Both of them try to avoid each other. YEE invites the schoolmates to celebrate YUET's birthday. HO and YEE find that YING and SIDNG are very strange. YING and SIDNG ask YEE and HO to help respectively. SIDNG copes with his colleagues well. He even receives praises. YING inspires SIDNG to use musical notes to decorate the window display. SIDNG and his colleagues work overnight. CHUNG, PING, YING and SIDNG's schoolmates work hard at home. They eventually finish the work and receive praise. SIDNG continue to work at the firm at six months. SIDNG thanks everybody by inviting them to dinner. When SIDNG has known that YING had secretly rendered help, he fills with emotion. Meanwhile, LEUNG appears.
