Episode 1
During the seventeenth century, a minority race MOON overthrew the MING Dynasty and established the CHING Dynasty in China. Patriotic MING descendants were determined to restore the MING Dynasty and the HUNG Clan and the HEAVEN AND EARTH Clan were two most powerful of the numerous anti-CHING organizations. HUNG HAY KOON, leader of the HUNG Clan, was secretly meeting with the heads of the HEAVEN AND EARTH Clan when the CHING armies, led by a devilish Kung Fu master CHIC, raided the secret meeting place. HUNG managed to escape with a precious gold medal which symbolized the authority of the MING Dynasty. FONG SAT YUK, a mischievous young man, received Kung Fu trainings from his mother. Hearing that FONG's Kung Fu was very remarkable, WU WAI KIN came to ask FONG to be his master.
Episode 2
FONG and WU were accidentally got involved with HUNG who was hiding in the loom house when WU went to take revenge on the people there whom he believed to have killed his father. FONG unknowingly picked up the gold medal from HUNG. FONG's mother realizing that FONG was deep in trouble because of his knowledge of the gold medal, decided to send him to SHIU LIN where he could temporarily escape the army's pursuit as well as receiving further Kung Fu trainings. In order to retrieve the gold medal, HUNG followed FONG and WU to SHIU LIN Temple. The tree were finally admitted to be followers of the temple after a series of Kung Fu tests.
Episode 3
FONG and HUNG continued to fight for the ownership of the gold medal. FONG, having been defeated, returned it to HUNG unwillingly. Both were punished because of the fighting. CHIC learnt that HUNG was in SHIU LIN Temple, challenged to fight with the temple master. In the meantime, YIU LANG CHUI, coming to visit the temple master, was mistaken as CHIC's follower. The temple master, KAI CHUN, refusing to release HUNG to CHIC, was seriously injured by CHI C's devilish tricks.
Episode 4
HUNG, helped by FONG and WU, fought against CHIC who promised to let off HUNG and SHIU LIN if they could dirty his clothes within tem games of fight. They finally managed to dirty his clothes in the last game. YIU came to SHIU LIN under the purpose of finding HUNG to discuss the overthrow of CHING and the restoration of MING. YIU was very much impressed by HUNG.
Episode 5
Followers of the North and South courts of the SHIU LIN Temple competed very keenly for the four treasures. At the same time, FONG was also very much impressed by YIU who told HUNG that she was a member of the HEAVEN AND EARTH Clan and wished to overthrow CHING with HUNG. But when HUNG asked her to show evidence to prove her identity, YIU left SHIU LIN on the next day. FONG and HUNG, being South court followers, finally obtained the four treasures. WU wished to leave the temple. However, Lender the SHIU LIN Temple regulations, he had to break through the Wooden Men Lane. FONG and HUNG were willing to help him.
Episode 6
HUNG and FONG succeeded in breaking through the Wooden Men Lane while WU failed. He escaped but was caught back. He was ordered to creep out of SHIU LIN through a dog's hole. Finally, they got out from SHIU LIN and went to find YIU respectively to discuss matters concerning the HEAVEN AND EARTH Clan with YIU's father.
Episode 7
WING CHUN swore to marry the one who could win over her Kung Fu skills. HUNG easily did so under FONG's urge. WING CHUN urged him to marry her while HUNG was unwilling. YIU saw all that happened and always teased HUNG about this. LUI, a malignant guy in Kwan Tung, killed many people, including FONG's uncle. Later FONG killed LUI in an open Kung Fu contest. FONG's family escaped to YIU's house when LUI's wife came to take revenge.
Episode 8
LUI's father-in-law challenged FONG for fighting. Three days later, when FONG went to the fighting spot, YIU's father came and prevented the fighting. YIU's father learnt that the LION King of MOON would come to Kwan Tung, so he asked HUNG to stay in order to give him some assistance.
