Episode 1
KO CHING shows sign of his astuteness during the King of Gambling competition. The people then praise him with the nickname ‘the Gambling God'. After that, he feels very lonely. He has no interest in managing his casino business. In order to pursue the supreme level of gambling skills, he secretly disappears. In order to pursue a breakthrough in gambling skills, CHING challenges a monk who was very famous in the gambling world in the old days. However, the monk, SIK HUNG, refuses to accept CHING's challenge. HUNG recalls the past. He had brought up KO CHING and LOK KING SUM and had taught them the garbling skill. One day, the enemies had come,' HUNG had t~ flee ~way. He then asked SHUN HING to take care CHING and SUM. Then he left no message for them for many years. Twenty years later, he has become a monk. CHING has left the casino business for SUM to manage while he has disappeared……

CHING appears again in the gambling world. He witnesses that their casino is at stake, therefore, he arranges to challenge HUNG, He wins HUNG with his outstanding gambling skill and could eventually win back their casino. WAH and KEUNG pretends to be the air-conditioning maintenance workers so that they could mingle into the casino. They witness how CHING defeats HUNG and admires CHING a lot. Both of them want to be CHING’s apprentice. After CHING has backed to the casino and manages its business, his position becomes' more important and outstanding. . On the contrast, SUM becomes the second man and loses his importance, He begins to jealous CHING. WAH tries to approach CHING and begs CHING to accept him as one of his apprentice. CHING refuses WAH. Later, CHING is affected with his sincerity and allows him to work in the casino so that CHING could observe his performance. CHING originally has had a wife, FONG YUEN YING……

CHING is the focus in the gambling world. Many people challenge CHING. However, CHING could defeat all of them with his unusual gambling skill. His ‘Gambling God' position is thus greatly strengthened. SUM is reluctant to loss his importance. HING always teases SUM. SUM feels very intolerable and decides to leave. CHING tries his best to ask him stay, SUM then agrees to stay. WAH bothers CHING a lot and devises to make CHING accept him as his apprentice" Unexpectedly, he hurts YING. WAH feels very sorry and apologizes for his mistake. YING appreciates his pleasant character. At the beginning, CHING does not notice WAH. Later, he discovers that WAH has great talent for gambling, He also feels touched with his sincerity and unwearied effort. CHING eventually accepts WAR as his apprentice. WAH is interviewed by KI in the street. WAR treats her perfunctorily and they start a squabble……

The members take the opportunity to seize power and kill each other. Later, the Black Wood Triad was seized by the Shan Hao Section'. LOI is determined to take revenge. She changes her name and is keen on practising gambling skills. She decides to take revenge on CHING. LOI appears in the casino with a sexy look. Many people pay special attention to her. LOI disturbs the casino's procedure and deliberately cheats on the betting table. WAH is being framed and is forced to dismiss temporarily. WAH by chance discovers that SUM is KI's father. He knows that misunderstandings do exist between them. WAH tries to mediate. KI respects his father all along. She has never suspected his character and behaviour. However, his father's good image is destroyed. Once KI has known the truth……

LOI threatens CHING to gamble with her by capturing YING. She takes this opportunity for revenge. However, she loses. She is . so angry that she wants to sacrifice herself for killing CHING with an explosive. Fortunately, CHING is very shrewd. He escapes from danger with the two girls. LOI is hurt. CHING saves her. LOI is so ashamed that she wants to kill herself. CHING saves her again. She feels very touched and forgives CHING. She reforms herself and lives a new life. In fact, LOI is controlled by YAT LONG of the Pun Lung Triad. He utilizes LOI to seize CHING' s casino. When LONG has known that CHING has harboured LOJ, he forces CHING to hand over LOI to him. CHING does not want to be ungrateful to L01 who is so determined to reform herself, therefore, he goes to Japan by himself. He tries to persuade the elder member of the Pun Lung Triad forgiving LOI……

CHING asks SUM why he killed LOI. SUH explains that he only killed LOI in a towering anger. CHING suspects SUM's intention. SUM finds that CHING does not trust him anymore. He waits upon a chance to eliminate CHING. A buddhist devotee, CHING MING, possesses some extraordinary power in some marvellous doings, therefore, he does gain some reputation. One day, he calculaces that CHING and SUM are the two who posses the heaven's decree. He then re60mmends himself in helping them to accomplish their achievements. CHING carries off with a laugh. SUM is half in doubt. CHING devises to make SUM believe him. He even claims that he will help SUM to eliminate CHING. SUM is very happy. CHING wants SUM to give him CHING's horoscope. However, CHING is an orphan and thus has no trace of his horoscope. SUM then goes to the orphanage to investigate He eventually finds an old woman to disclose CHING's horoscope……

They spread that CHING was dead when he is on the way to the hospital. All the people feel very surprised. MING wants to continue the bet, HING also agrees to continue. CHING makes MING believe that CHING has restored to live in order to strike him. Consequently, MING loses. YING is angry with CHING who has pretended to be dead. It wastes her effort worrying for him. YING then leaves CHING. Later, WAR mediates between YING and CHING. They eventually reconcile with each other. After SUM has known that KI and WAH are dating, he fears that they will bother him in confronting CHING. Thus, he stops them to contact each other. MING finds that WAH does possess talent in gambling, therefore, he advises SUM to make WAH his man. CHING finds out that SUM instructed MING to challenge him. He then questions SUM. SUM frankly tells CHING that he is always jealous of CHING' s position and pretends that he will correct his attitude……
