When he broke off his longtime college relationship, his stock value shot through the roof and he gets caught up in the bachelor lifestyle, not realizing that life is passing him by. One by one, his friends move on, including his frat brother Erick who is newly married, and his some times engaged friend, Bryan, leaving Jason the odd man out with his newly divorced friend Lacy. He now feels pressured to catch up and finds himself in awkward dating encounters. Through it all his friends are there helping him along the way. For the Love of Jason will truly give women a man's perspective and follow Jason's journey in the beginning of a new life that America will grow to love.

This season explores Jason’s journey facing the obstacles of becoming an entrepreneur, building a co-parenting relationship with Carmen, and navigating his already complicated dating situation… all with a child on the way. Lacy, still at odds with Bryan after their brief entanglement, jumps back into the dating game and starts a new relationship with a professional basketball player. As Jason and Bella’s relationship flourishes, his friend circle begins to fall apart — tensions grow between him and Erick after a heated argument and Lacy and Bryan remain at odds after Alicia’s ultimatum. Things get worse when the whole squad links up for Erick and Lisa’s housewarming party, that turns into the dinner party from hell.

After a run-in with her ex-husband, Lacy's attitude and inability to let go of the past affects her future prospects. Jason unexpectedly goes to a speed dating event and runs into Erick's ex, who invites him to a party with ulterior motives.

Erick's father makes a surprise weekend visit with the hopes of getting to know Lisa better. Patricia urges Jason and Alexandria to settle down. Jason reluctantly rolls solo to his married friends' get-together and the event quickly goes downhill.

Jason finally meets his new client, Lola Lane, and deals with the work place blues. Lacy goes out with the date she's been hiding, Steven, and runs into Bryan who learns why she's been hiding him. Alicia is tired of waiting for Bryan to be ready to get married, and the two discuss the future of their relationship.

Jason goes on a date with a woman who is forced to bring her young son along, and it's clear he has no home training. The date quickly goes bad and leads him back to Carmen. Bryan deals with the fallout of his relationship much to the crew's dismay. Lacy gets the call for a new opportunity. Carmen makes herself comfortable in Jason's life.
New Beginnings
Jason and Cody celebrate their new business along with the rest of the gang, who each have exciting news of their own, but there are many surprises that will follow them along the way. Jason gets news that could change his life in more ways than one.
