What was behind the Stockholm massacre? Was it all King Christian the Tyrant's fault - or are there unknown perpetrators? The prelude to the massacre has been going on for many years. Against each other are two young men with big plans. The new Danish king Christian II wants to take control of the Swedish throne with military power, but against him he has the very young Sten Sture who manages to gather the Swedish peasant army. War, love and cunning intrigue lead to the massacre.
