Everyone gets shocked by the kidnapping of Jun Yeong, Cha Seo Young's son. The police do everything in their power to track and arrest their prime suspect, Kim Seok Pil. Meanwhile, Soo Hyun believes there is more to be found in the huge shadow cast behind the incident. After proposing a deal with Seo Young, Soo Hyun starts to retrace the kidnapping from the beginning. However, evidence surfaces from an unexpected place.

They also notice that the police are trying to cover up the truth and close the case as soon as possible. Soo Hyun finds out that Yeo Jin is deeply involved in the kidnapping incident. Gyeong Sook tells Jeong Wook to leave the country to cover up his crime, but he gets arrested by the police at the airport. Se Ra begs Nam Kyu to help her so that she won’t get arrested. The only eyewitness has been found dead, and the evidence related to the culprit’s identity has also disappeared into thin air. No evidence has been confirmed, but the residents of Royal the Hill struggle to hide the traces that may harm their reputation. As revealed in the autopsy results, suspicious evidence surfaces one after another, and Seo Young sits at a BSN News Night interview, cornering Soo Hyun with difficult questions.
