Night Man is an American action/adventure/sci-fi series that aired in syndication from September 15, 1997 to May 17, 1999. The series is loosely based on a comic book published by Malibu Comics and was created by Steve Englehart and developed for television by Glen A. Larson. It stars Matt McColm as the title character, a superhero whose real name was Johnny Domino, a saxophonist. Englehart would write three episodes of the series. Night Man is also one of the few series to cross over with characters from Larson's previous series: in the episode "Manimal", Johnny allies with Professor Jonathan Chase, the star of the short-lived 1980s' series Manimal.

A criminal who has the power to start earthquakes demands that Bay City pay him millions of dollars,or he will release an earthquake to destroy Bay City once and for all.At the same time a crroked doctor is robbing a little girl of her life by illegally selling organs for profit,and she needs a kidney transplant in order to live.To make matters more serious,Bay City is completely evacuated over the earthquake threat with the exception of Johnny and Raleigh.They work together to locate the criminal and stop the threat of the earthquakes
I Left My Heart
A druglord that needs a new heart has his group hold a party of wealthy folks hostage in order to find a new donor, who ends up being Frank Dominus. NightMan has to get rid of a bomb that the group has placed in the building, then track down the druglord, his group, and their victim.
Still of the Night
A beast from another dimension has been brought to ours to serve as a high tech government project. When the beast gets loose, it begins infecting innocent people including Frank Dominus, and the only cure for this deadly infection is the blood of the beast itself. Johnny has to done the Nightman suit to track down the beast, while fighting for his own life since he's been affected as well.
Face to Face
E Haskell Bridges breaks out of prison after having a face makeover that allows him to shift his face into anyones he wants. His ultimate plot after reunting with his beautiful but evil galpal Samantha is to get revenge on Frank Dominus and Lt. Charlie Dann for putting him away. He goes to ""The House of Soul"" and gasolines the hall, igniting a fire that nearly kills Jessica Rodgers. Nightman saves her, then comes face to face with Bridges. Though Nightman suspects Bridges to be dead after he plummets him into the ocean, he's still alive, lounging on a beach somewhere with his galpal and waiting to return and get his revenge.

Joran,one of the many that was struck by the same lightning that Johnny himself was struck by,has been gifted with two powers.One,he is given teleknesis,able to move things with his mind and Two,Joran is able to steal talent and resources from anyone he wants and their abilities as well at the moment of the persons death.He steals power from several of the cosmic receipents,stealing their powers,and growing ever stronger...and Johnny is next on the list.
