Former maid Qin Yue Xiang accidentally kills her mason husband to protect her 9-year-old daughter Sang Cai Qing from being married to an old man. Before she is hanged by the town magistrate Xiao Ru Zhang, Yue Xiang sends Cai Qing to her biological father, rich tycoon Chen Yuan, to seek refuge.
