The Embassy Occupation

The crime journalist Lasse Lampers shows both well-known and never-before-seen clips and talks about the images with the presenter André Pops. In this first season, the theme is German terrorism and we are thrown back to the dramatic events when the West German embassy was occupied in April 1975. Two years later, a group planned to kidnap Prime Minister Anna-Greta Leijon. Did the terrorists really think they would succeed in their attacks? And how did the TV journalists work during the events?

The Drama at Norrmalmstorg

It is the most famous and controversial bank robbery in Swedish criminal history, the almost six-day-long Norrmalmstorg drama in August 1973. The robber Janne Olsson took four people hostage and demanded that the country's most notorious criminal, Clark Olofsson, be released. Day by day, sometimes minute by minute, André Pops and Lasse Lampers go through the events. In Kriminalarkivet: Norrmalmstorgsdramat, we get to see lots of images from the TV archive, many of which have never been shown before. As usual, reality surpasses poetry!

The murder of Malin

In November 1996, 16-year-old Malin Lindström disappeared without a trace. It was not until six months later that her body was found and it was clear that she had been the victim of a sexual murder. An 18-year-old man was long the main suspect, but the murder has remained unsolved. A completely improbable chain of events in recent years has led to HD granting a settlement and the case is now being re-examined. André Pops and Lasse Lampers go through the fall during the past 26 years. With the support of abundant archive material, we follow the police investigation from Malin's disappearance until today. We also get to take part in the fight for closure and justice that Malin's parents fought throughout the year.

The Åmsele Murders

In 1988, three people, all belonging to the same family, were found brutally murdered in Åmsele in Västerbotten. The murders seem at first completely inexplicable, but soon the police find clues to both the motive and the suspect, both equally strange and terrifying. André Pops and Lasse Lampers follow the intensive hunt for the murderers.

The murder of Anna Lindh

The murder of Anna Lindh twenty years ago shocked the whole of Sweden, which was forced to experience the second murder of a minister in 17 years. In the fifth edition of the Kriminalarkivet, André Pops and Lasse Lampers go back to the dramatic days of September 2003.

Ståplats in Nybroviken

The expression "Ståplats i Nybroviken" has its origins in a well-known triple murder from the 1960s, the so-called "Träskmorden". The police murder in Malexander

The cold-blooded police murders in Malexander created a great atmosphere and caused deep wounds both within the police force and in the Swedish public. Wounds that are still not completely healed. Step by step, the Criminal Archives' Lasse Lampers and André Pops go through the events of the Malexander murder. It is one of Sweden's most attention-grabbing crimes and it changed both the regulations of the correctional service and the working methods of the police.

The murder of Engla

The murder of ten-year-old Engla Höglund shocked and disgusted the Swedish people. The outrage did not diminish when it eventually emerged that the murder, with sharper police work, could have been avoided. It was on the evening of June 7, 2015, that 17-year-old Lisa Holm disappeared from her job at a café in the idyllic Blomberg, located at Kinnekulle. When it was decided to issue a public search two days later, scores of volunteers flocked to participate in the search. The Murder of Olof Palme

February 28, 2026 marks 40 years since Prime Minister Olof Palme was shot dead by an unknown assailant after a visit to the cinema in central Stockholm. In eight episodes, André Pops and Lasse Lampers go through what happened on Sveavägen and several of the possible (and impossible) theories that exist about who or what is behind the murder. With the support of film material from SVT's archives, stills, old and new documents, tape recordings and newly made interviews, including with Joakim Palme, we remember the dramatic events while gaining new insights into the criminal investigation.
