Heartland

Season 1

Season One follows the Bartlett-Fleming family, Grandpa Jack, teenager Amy and older sister Lou, as they deal with the ups and downs of running a ranch that's been in the family for generations but is now so deep in debt they're one back payment away from losing it all. After the death of their mother, the girls' lives change forever. Lou returns home from her high-powered job in New York to take over the business of the ranch. Amy realises she has inherited her mother's special horse whispering gift and is determined to keep her mother's dream alive by maintaining Heartland as a horse rescue centre. And Jack just wants to prevent the two girls from killing each other. Thrown into this mix is Ty, the hunky new stable boy; Mallory, the 12-year-old kid next door who never goes home; Scott, the local vet who had a thing for Lou back in high school; and Tim, the girls' estranged father, who has returned to Hudson and wants to reconnect with his family but doesn't know how.

Season 2

Season Two follows Amy and Lou's life on the ranch as Amy faces her feelings for Ty, the young ranch hand who has been living on Heartland as a part of his probation, while Lou adjusts to her new life in the country. Their father, Tim makes a concerted effort to establish himself as a legitimate rancher while re-connecting with the daughters he left behind.

Season 3

Season Three follows Amy continuing to work with traumatised and neglected horses but things get complicated when she suddenly finds herself thrust into the limelight of unwanted fame. Amy and Ty are finally together as a couple as Ty pursues his interest in veterinary medicine working alongside Scott. Lou has to make some difficult decisions about her future. As her relationship with Peter Morris becomes more and more serious she feels pulled between two different worlds. As for Jack, his granddaughters are growing up, Lisa wants to take their relationship to the next level and like it or not, Time is a permanent part of the family.

Season 4

Season Four sees Amy Fleming continuing to work to heal and retrain neglected and abused horses. Special projects for Amy include training a racehorse to jump, saving abandoned horses, and keeping her relationship with Ty Borden, a once troubled teen, together. Lou, Amy’s sister, struggles to live two lives, one in Dubai, and one at Heartland, which takes a toll on her marriage. Jack and Tim, Amy’s grandfather and father, quarrel with their usual frequency, and the neighbour who never seems to leave, Mallory Wells, continues to get herself into sticky situations.

Season 5

Season Five of Heartland finds Amy reaching a new level of horsemanship that sets her down a freeing path. Ty realises that in order to move forward with his life and his relationship with Amy, he has to make some tough decisions. Lou grapples with the realities of motherhood and the possibility of going back into the workforce when money becomes tight. Tim seeks out his long lost son to establish a relationship and must figure out a way to tell his daughters they have a brother. And Jack remains the rock of Heartland, gently (and sometimes not so gently) helping his family deal with the ups and downs they experience in their lives.

Season 6

Season Six of Heartland continues Amy and Ty as a couple, but the weight of the "almost-proposal" takes its toll with touching and humorous results. Lou and Peter's new home returns into a renovation nightmare which results in a tragic and potentially fatal situation. Jack's European vacation did not work out as well as he leads Lisa to believe and a newcomer, an 11-year-old runaway by the name of Georgie, becomes a new fixture at the Heartland Ranch.

Season 7

Season Seven of Heartland continues to follow life on the ranch as Amy, her older sister Lou and their grandfather Jack deal with the challenges of running the ranch that has been in their family for six generations. With every ending, comes a new beginning. This season it's all about taking risks and putting it all on the line for what you believe in. As the family struggles to cope with recent changes at the ranch, Amy realises she must reclaim her Miracle Girl status and focus on her work with horses. By mid-season, Amy will experience a trauma that irrevocably changes her life. She will grow even closer to Ty as they face difficult questions about the future. The rest of the Heartland family will take on new challenges and fight for what they believe in most: love, family and a home you can always come back to.

Season 8

Season Eight of Heartland continues the saga of a Western family as they chase big dreams and manage life's setbacks, while holding on to what matters most: courage, love, family and a home you can always come back to. The season begins with Amy arriving back from the European Equestrian circuit, still riding high on the opulent lifestyle and adrenaline of working with Prince Ahmed's high-performance horses. But if she thought life at Heartland was going to pick up where it left off, she is sadly mistaken. Amy's time away has changed her and everyone else back home. And as the family struggles through secrets, rivalries and misunderstandings, Amy and Ty must find solid ground in their relationship.

Season 9

Season nine of Heartland finds the Bartlett-Fleming clan navigating the new normal as each family member starts an exciting chapter, leaving past hurt and hardships behind. With the idyllic Alberta foothills as their backdrop, this tightknit family knows that any challenge can be met and every struggle can be overcome as long as they have each other.

Season 10

Season 10 sees Amy and Ty prepare for their greatest challenge yet-parenthood. But as their commitment to one another grows even deeper, so too do the issues facing the entire Fleming family. Tim is caught in the middle of Jade's showdown with a hotshot bronc rider, while the arrival of an old friend brings uncertainty to Heartland. Georgie struggles to adapt to new challenges, while Lou wrestles with the implications of an unexpected gift. Amy questions the motives of a surprise visitor and a secret from Jack's past threatens to change his relationship with the family forever. With new obstacles ahead and a baby on the way, this close-knit clan of horse ranchers will have to rely on each other like never before to overcome the odds and find happiness together.

Season 11

Season 11 sees the Bartlett-Flemings experience life-changing events, testing their bonds as a family, while leading them down a road to exciting adventures and unexpected challenges. Amy and Ty find it a challenge to balance their professional schedules with the realities of raising a new born, especially as Ty's work pulls him away from home from time to time. At the same time, Tim struggles to come to terms with shocking news that completely throws his life off balance, and as her business enterprise continues to grow, Lou must find a way to stay in the loop to keep herself from becoming a stranger to her own family. Along the way, Jack and Lisa take the next step in their relationship.

Season 12

Season 12 opens with Amy and Ty trying to balance life with a toddler and their perpetually busy schedules. Realising their long-time goal of working together turns out to be the solution. But the decision presents inevitable ups and downs that at times threaten their faith in one another. When a newcomer arrives at Heartland, Amy and Ty are confronted with an impossible choice that could change their family forever. Meanwhile, Georgie enlists a new coach and faces immense pressure to reach the next level, causing her to make challenging sacrifices. In order to support her daughter, Lou is spurred into making a decision about her expanding business in NYC. At the same time, Jack and Lisa confront problems in their relationship when Lisa is faced with a troubling family situation. Season 13

Season 13 of Heartland sees excitement, love, and drama continue as Amy and Ty build their business together, the inevitable ups and downs of entrepreneurship test the strength of their marriage. Georgie returns from an elite equestrian training camp in Europe only to realise that things in Hudson are not as they were when she left - or perhaps she is the one who has changed. When a dangerous storm heads towards Hudson, Jack is forced to face some tragic memories from his past.

Season 14

Season 14 of Heartland finds horses healing Amy as much as Amy heals horses. While Amy struggles with a life-changing challenge, the entire town of Hudson will have to deal with an unexpected disaster that threatens to derail Lou's first term as mayor. But the family will pull through together and be stronger as a result. Family is courage, and times change.

Season 15

Season 15 opens with Amy embracing the future - raising her daughter, working with the horses who continue to heal her, branching out into a new phase of her life and profession. She is moving forward and feels determined to leave a legacy. In fact, Jack, Lisa, Lou and Tim have all decided that now is not the time to pull back, but to ramp up, to create new dreams and fulfill old ones. And, as they always do, the family will pull together to help each other...and will ultimately end up stronger than ever.

Season 16

Season 16 finds Amy and the rest of the family making bold strides towards their futures. Amy will be challenged by the horses that need her help, but she’ll also open herself up to the possibility of new friendships and maybe even romance. Amy’s daughter Lyndy will follow in her mom’s footsteps as her talents with horses start to develop over the course of the season. Jack and Lisa will find themselves living out the dreams they’ve both worked so hard to achieve. Just as Lou and Peter have recommitted as a couple, Katie will struggle to find her place in the world and in her family. Tim has never been happier in his marriage to Jessica, but a ghost from his past will force him to reconsider mistakes he made years ago and seek ways to atone for them.

Season 17

Season 17 finds Amy balancing motherhood with her gift for connecting with traumatised horses. Lou is running for local office. Tim is trying to be a better father. Jack (the beloved grandfather) is slowing down but still the heart of the ranch. New horses arrive, new romances bloom, and the family faces a threat from developers who want to buy their land.

Season 18

Season 18 wraps old wounds and rides into new conflicts at Heartland Ranch. After a tense season of drought and business rivalry, Amy and the family face personal reckonings and shifting loyalties. Lou spills the beans on Nathan Sr’s Alzheimer’s, sparking a business feud that ends with Heartland Beef supplanting Pryce Beef - while Amy and Nathan’s slow-burn romance hits rocky ground.

Season 19

Season 19 has a raging wildfire that threatens the ranch, forcing the Heartland family to evacuate, but when a pregnant mare is trapped in the fire's path, Amy risks everything to try to save her. Amy must deal with the fallout when Lyndy's first 4-H show goes awry. Meanwhile, Katie does something unexpected with Dodger. When Amy returns to Pike River with Nathan to work with Search and Rescue horses she's confronted with memories of Ty.

Season 20
