On Mother's Day, Rita is worried about the absence of her sons Sinistro, the eldest, and Sushi, the youngest, who decides to prepare a surprise for her. Edna, the mother of police officer Digão, just hopes for him to come home safe. When a police operation invades the community they live in, a tragedy changes both families forever.
About Love Is for the Strong
The story of two mothers in search for justice after a police invasion in their community led to a tragedy that changed the lives of these two families forever. On one hand, Rita deals with the death of her youngest son, Sushi. On the other, Edna, the mother of police officer Digão, faces the consequences of her son's actions during the operation.
