The Sower
Based on the parable found in Matthew 13, this film tells the story of four individuals who each receive a mysterious gift on their doorstep. From the moment they see it, they are intercepted by a Mysterious Man whose sole ambition seems to be to take their gifts away through deception, persuasion and fear. Each of the four heroes have their own vices, but will they be able to keep the unexpected gift over everything life throws at them?
The Good Samaritan
Based on the parable found in Luke 10, this film takes us into the shoes of a white supremacist on his way to a white-power march through the streets of London. However, on his way, he is intercepted by a group of youth who rob him, beat him and leave him for dead in a dark and dingy alleyway. Desperately grasping at life, James is ignored by those he trusted most and when help comes from the most unexpected of places will he be able to accept the help or drive his saviour away?
The Hidden Treasure
Based on the parable found in Matthew 13, this follows a family who seem to have everything they could need. Good jobs, education, a nice house, a great car, but when Mark stumbles over a buried treasure in a field on his morning run his world is turned upside down. He discovers that the local Farmer is selling the field, but the price is unlike anything he has ever heard. Will he and his family choose the wise security of life, or will they foolishly risk it all for a chest in a field?
The Talents
The Talents, found in Matthew 25:14-30, is retold with three pianists taking centre stage. Their Maestro takes leave and sends the three pianists into the world to make a life for themselves with talents they have gained. As we follow Chris, one of our musicians, things don’t end up going the way he expected…
The Rich Fool
Based on the parable in Luke 12, the film places it in a small, community in the shadows of gentrification. When our main character finds out that the small blessing she has received rewards her with a massive payout, will she remain loyal to her community or go her own way and live the life she’s always dreamed of?
