A tribute to Massimo Troisi, who would have turned seventy on February 19, will open the episode of Splendida Cornice with the rapper Clementino who will sing " Quando " by Pino Daniele. Starting from the Sanremo monologues, this year all female, Geppi Cucciari will test a young Italian editor, the host Alessandro Cattelan, whose monologue will be judged by the jury of "La senti questo Voice" composed of Lella Costa and Amalia Ercoli Finzi . Federica Sciarelli will dedicate a special edition of "Who has seen it?" to "Splendida Cornice". Furthermore, in a film, four Italian intellectuals, Nicola Lagioia, Giorgio Zanchini, Daria Bignardi and Stefano Bartezzaghi, will make a cultured parody of Bobo TV. In this episode a memory of last Sunday's migrant tragedy with Ermal Meta who will sing "How deep is the sea" in the studio and Peppino Mazzotta, live from Cutro, the area of the shipwreck, who will dedicate a reading to the incident. We will also talk about "Mixed by Erry", a film about music piracy, with the Frattasio brothers, the true protagonists of this story taken from true events, therefore a tribute to Lucio Dalla, for the eightieth anniversary of his birth, with Noemi and Paola Pallottino, Dalla's lyricist and author of the lyrics of "4 March 1943".

With irony, self-irony, quotation and self-citation, Geppi Cucciari awaits viewers with a new appointment of Splendida Cornice which starts from the people, from their stories, from the news of the week and its interpreters, from small pearls of every form of art that they deserve a reflector. Guest in the studio will be Piera Detassis and, in connection, Carlo Verdone who will talk about the Oscar awards starting from their personal stories and anecdotes. Elio will sing a song to pay homage to Enzo Jannacci and will speak with Geppi Cucciari and Nico Acampora, founder of a social inclusion pizzeria-laboratory run by autistic children. Lino Guanciale will introduce the characters of the fiction "Inspector Ricciardi" and will give a monologue. Pianist Ramin Bahrami will perform on the piano and tell his story of Iran. Mario Tozzi will make a foray into "Splendida Cornice" from his studio of "Sapiens - One Planet".
