Mama Rosa

Episode One

Nina's boyfriend Tommy needs to study if he is to become a doctor, but Nina is not having much fun because of that. Mama has a plan: Tommy should bring his books over to the boarding house and study there. But of course, there are too many distractions and he cannot get any studying done. He prefers the company of his friend Molly. Everyone is concerned that Tommy has a new girlfrien—but it turns out that Molly is a skeleton.

Episode Two

Everyone in the house gets spooked when they start hearing strange noises. Then food begins to mysteriously disappear. It turns out that Nicolai is hiding a young runaway orphan in the basement. It seems that the boy just wants a mother and a father. Mama has a plan: perhaps her friend Mrs. Johnson would take care of the boy....

Episode Six

Shakespeare has written a 20 second radio commercial that is due to air tonight. Meanwhile, Tommy is upset that he cannot be alone with Nina except in the kitchen.

Episode Seven

Nina is excited about going on a vacation to Catalina Island with Tommy. Meanwhile, Shakespere is depressed; he is getting too many rejection notices for his writing efforts. Tommy comes over to tell Nina that Mrs. Clark, who was to chaperone Nina, cannot go to Catalina. Mama arranges it so that everyone in the boarding house except her and Crisino go to Catalina. She will stay home and get a real vacation.
