Episode synopsis
Episode 1 introduces the chaotic world of Chaitanya, Rohan and Kamlesh. Chatty quits his thankless job and decides to wait for his result. Rohan struggles to find a job, a job he so desperately needs to move in with his girlfriend, Ishita. In a rather hilarious altercation with Chatty, Kammo is made to face some harsh truths and is left wondering if he can make it as an actor.

Lafangey is a heartwarming story about three childhood friends—Chaitanya, Rohan, and Kamlesh—who live in a small colony in Noida. Now grown up, they each face the struggles of adult life while trying to hold on to their dreams. The show beautifully captures their friendship, problems, and how they try to find their place in the world. Chaitanya is clever and sharp, but he often finds himself in moral confusion. He has completed his B.Tech and wants to make his parents proud. However, when life doesn't go as planned, he gets attracted to the idea of making fast money through illegal sports betting. His decisions bring problems at home and make him question what real success and respect mean.
