About
In the village, everyone calls her Frodya. Only her late father and her beloved Pavel—whom life separated from her many years ago—ever used her full name, Aphrodite. He grew jealous over a young detective, rushed off to the city in the heat of the moment, and stayed there. The years went by, youth slipped away, and there wasn’t a single day of happiness in Frodya’s life. And now Pavel has returned, but not alone: he’s brought his three little ones to visit his mother. Frodya’s heart gave a jolt, as if they’d parted only yesterday…

Season 1
Episode 1
Frodya (Aphrodite) lives in a village, her life is monotonous and joyless. She recalls her youth and her relationship with Pavel — her first and strongest love. Memories of their meetings, dreams of a future together, and their sudden breakup due to Pavel's jealousy come to mind. In the village, everyone treats Froda simply, calling her only Frode, which emphasises her current situation — a woman with no bright prospects.
Episode 2
Unexpectedly, Pavel returns to the village — the very man who once broke Froda's heart. He did not come alone: he brought three children with him to visit his mother. Pavel's appearance causes a stir in the village. Froda tries to remain aloof, but her feelings are reawakened with renewed strength. She unwittingly begins to look after Pavel's children, and this brings them closer together. Pavel notices that Froda is as kind and responsive as she used to be.
Episode 3
The relationship between Frode and Pavel gradually warms up. They begin to communicate more often, reminisce about the past, and try to understand whether it is possible to restore what was lost many years ago. Pavel's children become attached to Frode, who becomes almost like family to them. This causes discontent among some villagers, especially those who have long had their sights set on Pavel. One of the local women openly tells Froda that Pavel is now a free man and can choose anyone he wants — not necessarily her. Froda worries and doubts her chances for happiness.
Episode 4
Pavel is becoming increasingly aware that his feelings for Frode have not faded. He realises that he was too hasty in leaving, succumbing to jealousy. Pavel decides to talk openly with Frode about the future. He admits that he regrets the years spent away from her and wants to try to start over. Froda hesitates for a long time: the past has left scars on her soul, and she is afraid of making another mistake. But in the end, she decides to give their relationship a second chance. Pavel's children are delighted to see that the adults are coming to an understanding.
