يبحث جواد إبراهيم أحد عناصر المقاومة وزوجته الدكتورة كوثر علي عن ابنهما الحقيقي وعائلة الطفل علي اللذان اكتشفا أنه ليس ابنهما الحقيقي نتيجة خطأ حدث بالمستشفى نتج عنه تبديل المواليد، ذلك بالتوازي مع بلورة الصراع بين استخبارات العدو والمقاومة والمكائد التى يضعها العدو للتخلص من عناصر المقاومة.
