Episode synopsis
GRANDUNCLE SAM visits the KOT and CHAI families on Chinese New Year. As he has not found a place to settle down yet, CHUEN invites him to stay. She tells FAI to let GRANDUNCLE SAM have her room. FAI agrees unwillingly. GRANDUNCLE SAM has broken FAIโs music player. He promises to buy her a new one. CHUEN takes GRANDUNCLE SAM to buy jewelry. The price of gold has gone up a lot. GRANDUNCLE SAM does not have enough cash. CHUEN offers to pay for him first. FAI strongly believes he is taking advantage of her mother. The dog of FAIโs neighbor has gone missing. GRANDUNCLE SAM has cooked a pot of meat. FAI does not let her parents eat it, believing that GRANDUNCLE SAM has cooked the dog. GRANDUNCLE SAM finds FAI rude, while FAI thinks he is pedantic. GRANDUNCLE SAM writes the family a letter then leaves the flat in anger.
