Episode 1
Accused of fraud, Ivan Lausman aims to end it all by driving his car into a river. When he's washed up 10km downstream, alive and well, the Aquarians know he's a land-lubber with a residual Aqua gene.
Episode 2
Inspector Jara and Trpelka, the officer assisting her, investigate what happened to Ivan Lausman, but they are unaware that the nixes, or Water People, are also after him and he has gone into hiding.
Episode 3
Lausman is enjoying nix life and Jara, who is trying to track him down, is humiliated when a picture of her quarry, taken by a tourist, appears in the paper. Trpelka nearly drowns during a stake-out.
Episode 4
Jara makes a breakthrough when she receives another set of photos. Lausman attends a nix history lesson by Dr Magda Mrackova and learns about the 'magic water' of Vysehrad lake, hidden beneath Prague.
Episode 5
Jara breaks into a boat belonging to Lausman's protectors Eduard and Johana, steals some strange food items and sends them off to the lab. Dr Jech is confused by the results of his tests on Lausman.
Episode 6
Eduard is determined to get to the truth about the magic water of Vysehrad and starts a petition to propose the 'coming out' of the nixes. Lausman plans a new venture in the bottled water industry.
Episode 7
The local nix boat dwellers are cynical about Eduard's revolutionary talk. Mr Sikorsky from the Fresh Water Alliance arrives in Prague to 'deal with' Lausman. Jara is removed from the investigation.
Episode 8
Eduard reveals he knows how to access the waters of Vysehrad. Magda meets in secret with Bishop Laska, who tells her that if Sikorsky fails to exterminate Lausman, it will be up to her to do the job.
