Khafaji is called to his first crime scene when an Iraqi man is found dead at a Coalition Authority safe house. US military policeman John Parodi clashes with Khafaji's boss Frank Temple.

Temple discovers his money is missing and has Khafaji arrested on false charges. On a raid, Parodi sees a photograph of three girls - who are they connected to?

Zubeida and Khafaji join forces in the hunt for Sawsan but their lead goes cold. A brutal murder is uncovered in the Green Zone and Parodi starts to suspect Temple of a darker involvement in the case.
