Season 4
The fourth season of The Block premiered on Monday, 20 June 2011 at 7:00 pm on the Nine Network. Host Scott Cam returned from the previous season, with Shelley Craft joining the series as "Challenge Master". Unlike previous series, the fourth season was filmed in Melbourne rather than Sydney, with the four houses to be renovated located in the inner-city suburb of Richmond. The season was ultimately won by Polly Porter and Warwick "Waz" Jones, who were the only couple to sell their property at auction.

Season 5
The fifth season of The Block premiered on Monday, 16 April 2012 at 7:00 pm on the Nine Network. Both host Scott Cam and "Challenge Master" Shelley Craft returned from the previous season. Like the previous season, this season was filmed in Melbourne, with the four houses to be renovated located in the inner-city suburb of South Melbourne. At first, this season wasn't to air in New Zealand, but has now been picked up by TV3. All four previous seasons have aired on Prime.

All Stars
The Block All Stars premiered on Monday, 4 February 2013 at 7:00 pm on the Nine Network. Both host Scott Cam and "Challenge Master" Shelley Craft returned from the previous season. Production for the series relocated from Melbourne—which had hosted the prior two seasons—to its original location of Bondi in Sydney to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the show's first season.

Season 1

Episode 1
The four couples are introduced and move into The Block. They randomly draw keys to discover their assigned flat. Everyone is shocked to discover the level of devastation in each apartment. After ripping out horrible old carpets to discover hardwood, one couple finds weak boards...and then termites. An ongoing issue with water leaking from an upstairs apartment creates strife.

Episode 2
Upstairs noise becomes a major issue for the downstairs tenants as there is no carpet or insulation to muffle it. All the couples meet for a body corporate (homeowner's association) resulting in a coup.

Episode 3
Termites are discovered throughout! The tenants begin to spy on each other and renovation turns into reconstruction as floorplans begin to change.

Episode 4
Couples work hard to complete their second room for judging. More division between the upstairs and downstairs tenant develops. Poor communication between the tenants results in near electrocution.

Episode 5
No running water for some and judgment for the next room. More intrigue develops between the neighbors as they continue to spy on each other.

Episode 6
The couples rush to finish their third room to win a bonus. Issues arise when one couple plans to relocate their hot water unit.

Episode 7
Emotions run high as all the contestants juggle renovation with their day job responsibilities. They all take a break from the hard work to see Amity launch her singing career at a bar around the corner.
