About this season
This series follows med students at McMasters University in Ontario Canada. It is shot in a verité style and follows students working in the hospital as well as in their homes. The series highlights the incredible pressures experienced by Medical Students.

Inderpal treats a critically ill fellow patient during his last shift as a family practice resident. Erin is hands on for a caesarian delivery on her summer work program in north bay. Emily tests her limits in a rural family practice when she returns home to cortes island off the coast of British Columbia.
2. Episode 2
Emily investigates alternative medicine and gets advice her own degenerative eye disease that could lead to blindness. Jamie moves into a challenging new role as senior medical resident. Monali removes a patient's breast to save her life.
3. Episode 3
Inderpal's year of emergency room training starts with a hit and run car accident victim. Sam takes on children's medicine and faces the challenge of examining uncooperative kids. Monali faces a full day of cancer surgeries.
4. Episode 4
Jamie runs a code blue when a patient crashes. Ira gets a chance to practice suturing when he does an elective in the ER. A tough case rattles Inderpal in the OR.
5. Episode 5
Michael is on call for the first time as a general surgery resident. Ira and Kathleen move into second year; ira works with a foot specialist and Kathleen investigates rheumatoid arthritis. Andrew's first day of general surgery is off to a rough start when he gets grilled by a tough supervisor.

Jamie deals with cancer patients working in a gastroenterology clinic. Alyson treats a patient in shock on her shift in the ER. Sam goes from sculptor to surgeon and discovers his creative background comes in handy.
7. Episode 7
Erin practices history taking on the neurology unit. Christine and Michael are under pressure in clinic. Alyson's patient suffers a heart attack on her shift in internal medicine.
8. Episode 8
Jamie's back on the ward as senior medical resident. Michael's hernia patient is wide awake in the operating room. Emily undergoes testing to assess the condition of her eye disease.
9. Episode 9
While a brand new freshman class is initiated into med school, the 2nd year students graduate to clerkship; Emily and Erin are assigned to family medicine and Ira and Sam fight fatigue in the ER.
10. Episode 10
Vikram works with a worried cancer survivor, Kathleen toughs it out in the ER and Sam deals with inner stress with an inner tube.
