About this season
Taggart is a Scottish detective television program. The series revolves around a group of detectives initially in the Maryhill CID of Strathclyde Police, though various storylines have happened in other parts of the Greater Glasgow area, and as of the most recent series the team have operated out of the fictional John Street police station across the street from the City Chambers.

Taggart has a new boss and he must take orders from her even though he has doubts about the guilt of a gang member. People are later found murdered and Taggart, Jardine, Reid and McVitie must work hard and fast to catch the killer.
2. Instrument of Justice - Part 2
Aired 7 October 1993
With Sean Brady still on the run, the case against John McLintock looks set to collapse. The killer strikes again, taking a third victim, relations between Taggart and his temporary boss remain somewhat strained.
3. Instrument of Justice - Part 3
Aired 14 October 1993
The trial against John McLintock collapses, but his victory is short lived. The killer makes a direct threat to DCS Ellen Gordon, leaving a message inside her home. The team find a clue in a video.
